Jascha Brugger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eamon Hess, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. FC Kurden's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Eamon Hess scored to the left of an out of position Jascha Brugger, making the score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, FC Kurden's Enea Fortin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Lütolf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of FC Kurden booed when AG.S. Rhäzüns FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Paly didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enea Fortin came free, but Jonas Lütolf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, FC Kurden's Sergio Kümin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Lütolf was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sergio Kümin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jonas Lütolf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. AG.S. Rhäzüns FC's Jonas Lütolf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Kümin in the 32nd minute of play. Enea Fortin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sergio Kümin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eamon Hess during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eamon Hess to make the kick off. FC Kurden's Enea Fortin got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergio Kümin struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jonas Lütolf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kurden. Sergio Kümin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Kurden's Michael Weissmuller got a free kick in the 70th minute. Eamon Hess recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jascha Brugger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eamon Hess in the 73rd minute of the match. Jonas Lütolf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Kümin in the 82nd minute. In the 92nd minute Yannick Gugger suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After a rather tough play, FC Kurden's Michael Weissmuller got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Sylvester Binzegger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AG.S. Rhäzüns FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. FC Kurden were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
