Juergen Lange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Favian Muff, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th match minute, Black Jack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janning Knechtli to maneuver through the defense. Juergen Lange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gian-Carlo Van Den Maagdenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led FC Lugano's Gregor Wirth to fire away a dangerous shot which Juergen Lange despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Juergen Lange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qiao Jian in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Qiao Jian was the one to do the kick off. Qiao Jian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Qiao Jian stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Juergen Lange. 0-5. 66 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when FC Lugano's Pornsak Seearamrungruang fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 68th minute, Favian Muff reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juergen Lange. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 72nd minute, FC Lugano's Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juergen Lange. Juergen Lange yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Pornsak Seearamrungruang's late challenge caught a Black Jack's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pornsak Seearamrungruang helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Lugano getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Pornsak Seearamrungruang hit a great ball. Juergen Lange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vico Sticher in the 83rd minute of play. Pornsak Seearamrungruang succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 86th playminute. Pornsak Seearamrungruang's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Juergen Lange skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Qiao Jian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juergen Lange. That made the score 0-11 in the 95 minute of play. FC Lugano played a much better game than Black Jack and deserved their victory. The Black Jack players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
