FC Zürich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Archambault was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC Zürich's Maxime Geisseler got a free kick in the 12th minute. Jared Labrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Bigler in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, FC Zürich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thoralf Betz to maneuver through the defense. Rene Archambault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jared Labrie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederick Apicella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jared Labrie was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the game, Thoralf Betz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Zürich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team Höllenschlund the free kick. A collision led to FC Zürich getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Thoralf Betz hit a great ball. Jared Labrie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rene Archambault went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thoralf Betz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Zürich's Jared Labrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Schüpfer in the 85th minute of play. The Team Höllenschlund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nepomuk Simmen should have stopped the shot. When Rene Archambault came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Team Höllenschlund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Archambault couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Zürich's Thoralf Betz got a free kick in the 95th minute. Team Höllenschlund played a much better game than FC Zürich and deserved their victory. The FC Zürich players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
