Spectators: 8328 (Terracing: 6328, Seating: 1940, VIP seats: 60) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ilian Brasseur took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilian Brasseur in the 3rd minute of the match. Remy Buchmann struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Cláudio Taffarel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc RayDog. In the 12th minute of the match Benito Bocchi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Servatius Ackeret skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilian Brasseur in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Taffarel saved Berne Wanderers FC from getting behind. Servatius Ackeret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamberto Riedweg in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Lamberto Riedweg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Servatius Ackeret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Robby Schaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andy Held recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Fc RayDog's Bastien Hellmann got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Andy Held fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Servatius Ackeret having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Berne Wanderers FC's Lamberto Riedweg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Servatius Ackeret. Servatius Ackeret yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Sandro Henzmann struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Cláudio Taffarel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc RayDog. In the 32nd match minute, Berne Wanderers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Reuteler to maneuver through the defense. If Ilian Brasseur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lamberto Riedweg to make the kick off. Servatius Ackeret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamberto Riedweg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fc RayDog's Klemens Bänninger got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Ilian Brasseur fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc RayDog's protests and gave Ilian Brasseur a yellow card for diving instead. Ilian Brasseur kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robby Schaer during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Berne Wanderers FC's Robby Schaer got a free kick in the 66th minute. Bastien Hellmann lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 69 minutes into the game, one of Fc RayDog:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cláudio Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Remy Buchmann sent off a good shot on target. Ilian Brasseur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robby Schaer in the 91st minute of play forced Fc RayDog's goalkeeper Servatius Ackeret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Erni charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Erni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fernando Erni hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. With his leg Cláudio Taffarel managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Fc RayDog's Ilian Brasseur fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Many of Fc RayDog's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Fc RayDog may have spent more time on the ball, but Berne Wanderers FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
