After a defensive mix-up in Fc Tuggen's zone, Geraldo Nussbaum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred-Marc Winiger came out of the goal and Geraldo Nussbaum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serenus Kaiser charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serenus Kaiser the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Gunt defense, Serenus Kaiser kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quintinus Freeh. The Gunt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quintinus Freeh should have stopped the shot. Fc Tuggen's Fred-Marc Winiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Nussbaum in the 22nd minute of play. With his leg Quintinus Freeh managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Fc Tuggen's Serenus Kaiser fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Gunt's Quintinus Freeh got control of the ball when Serenus Kaiser tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolphe Rochat during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Serenus Kaiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintinus Freeh having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Ronny Miani put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Quintinus Freeh. If Serenus Kaiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fc Tuggen's Fred-Marc Winiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Nussbaum in the 39th minute of play. Fred-Marc Winiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicola Diederich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Serenus Kaiser dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Quintinus Freeh, 4-0. Serenus Kaiser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Quintinus Freeh made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Harry Bähr made the kick off in the second half. Nicola Diederich hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Sebastien Krause hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serenus Kaiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintinus Freeh having to interfere. In the 57th minute Harry Bähr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quintinus Freeh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignaz Schwaller's late challenge caught a Fc Tuggen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignaz Schwaller helped the player get up and apologised. Ronny Miani scored 5-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quintinus Freeh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gunt's Quintinus Freeh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serenus Kaiser in the 74th minute of play. After 75 played minutes Fc Tuggen got a freekick which was hit by Hans Haas. If Harry Bähr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignaz Schwaller hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Quintinus Freeh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serenus Kaiser in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serenus Kaiser in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quintinus Freeh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fred-Marc Winiger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicola Diederich in the 89th minute. After 91 minutes, Sebastien Krause mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Tuggen and the Gunt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastien Krause hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Gunt's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Bähr came free, but Quintinus Freeh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Fc Tuggen got a freekick which was hit by Sebastien Krause. Fc Tuggen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
