After having played for 21 minutes, Bruno Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Patrizio Huber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lugano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc RayDog the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lugano's Patrizio Huber got a free kick in the 24th minute. Remy Buchmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Lucius Berger made a huge save. Fc RayDog's Servatius Ackeret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falco Klein in the 27th minute of play. Nathan Stinde's late challenge caught a Lugano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nathan Stinde helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Fc RayDog defense, Bruno Guimarães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Servatius Ackeret. The Fc RayDog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Servatius Ackeret should have stopped the shot. Gunther Wiss's late challenge caught a Fc RayDog's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunther Wiss helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Gunther Wiss. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Guimarães stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Falco Klein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Servatius Ackeret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sandro Henzmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucius Berger was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Lucius Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Henzmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Servatius Ackeret made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrizio Huber in the 67th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Falco Klein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falco Klein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 72 played minutes Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Guimarães. Servatius Ackeret came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Lugano's Bruno Guimarães. But to his dismay, Bruno Guimarães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 83 minutes into the match, Fc RayDog's goalkeeper Servatius Ackeret had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Guimarães. In the 84th minute, Hendrick Dubach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Servatius Ackeret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hendrick Dubach charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hendrick Dubach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Hendrick Dubach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
