Delémont EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZION AC the free kick. A collision led to Delémont EC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Roberto Trolla hit a great ball. Roland Korner didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 41st minute. ZION AC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabrizio Ambrogioni to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Fabrizio Ambrogioni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZION AC's Ur Sal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marvin Neuenschwander came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by ZION AC's Quentin Amstad. But to his dismay, Quentin Amstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0.
