Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Darius Eberhart got the match started through his kick off. Geoff Schwarz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Arndt Tittone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francesco Babst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Michael Theiler made a huge save. Arndt Tittone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoff Schwarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoff Schwarz in the 16th minute of play forced Bottens's goalkeeper Arndt Tittone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Babsts short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Michael Theiler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Michael Theiler managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Bottens's Francesco Babst fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 24th minute, Magnus Brünisholz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Babst got free with Michael Theiler in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Darius Eberhart kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michael Theiler. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Geoff Schwarz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Bottens's Arndt Tittone. Arndt Tittone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute Geoff Schwarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arndt Tittone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Brünisholz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arndt Tittone having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Bottens got a freekick which was hit by Darius Eberhart. In the 46th minute Geoff Schwarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arndt Tittone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bottens's Arndt Tittone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Brünisholz in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geoff Schwarz to make the kick off. Francesco Babst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geoff Schwarz got in the 54th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Arndt Tittone handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Magnus Brünisholz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 59 in the game by Geoff Schwarz from a close distance when the talented Arndt Tittone managed to make a qualified save. Bottens's players were relieved. 62 minutes into the match, Bottens's goal looked a bit too open when Niels Witschi came free, but Arndt Tittone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Babst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Theiler having to interfere. Arndt Tittone made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Geoff Schwarz sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, Red-Skorpion's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Babst came free, but Michael Theiler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuele Tosi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Bottens's Darius Eberhart got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Red-Skorpion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Tosi to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Francesco Babst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Theiler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Theiler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elijah Duplanty in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Bottens getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Beltrame Arnold hit a great ball. The Red-Skorpion players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
