Bottens's Arndt Tittone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Duplanty in the 39th minute of play. Jokim Muscio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Arndt Tittone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francesco Babst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Elijah Duplanty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bottens's supporters rose to their feet, but Elijah Duplanty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Emmenegger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Mehri kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Arndt Tittone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jokim Muscio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Gregory Spiller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
