If Sydney Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21stth minute of the game Luca Saenger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Barcelona's Gavino Gaur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luca Saenger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26th play minutes Sydney Baiano shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Khalid Gottschalk and just under the crossbar into goal. Khalid Gottschalk made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Victorio Modestio sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Khalid Gottschalk managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when FC Barcelona's Victorio Modestio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Hemmersbacher SV's Luca Saenger in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Sydney Baiano made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Sydney Baiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hemmersbacher SV's Khalid Gottschalk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elroy Kolb in the 53rd minute of play forced Hemmersbacher SV's goalkeeper Khalid Gottschalk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Marchetti in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalid Gottschalk saved Hemmersbacher SV from getting behind. The FC Barcelona fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when FC Barcelona's Wilfredo Marchetti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elroy Kolb hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match Mario Vinciguerra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Khalid Gottschalk skillfully saved the ball. Oskar Brandenberger missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 68 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gavino Gaur right hand side. Victorio Modestio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Tróia hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Elroy Kolb came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the FC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elroy Kolb couldn't finish the play. Elroy Kolb kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Elroy Kolb got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 89 minutes FC Barcelona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oskar Brandenberger who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Scott Herz got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 89 minutes into the match. FC Barcelona's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
