Felipe Schätzle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Silvester Bürgi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 26 minutes into the match, FC Seitenstecher's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Stauber came free, but Silvester Bürgi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristián Gabrieli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Schmitt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Stauber in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvester Bürgi saved FC Seitenstecher from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Seitenstecher's Beatus Schmitt got a free kick in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralf Stauber got free with Silvester Bürgi in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bearcreek United's Rocky Schenk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silvester Bürgi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristián Gabrieli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beatus Schmitt in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Bearcreek United's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Maurer came free, but Cristián Gabrieli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rocky Schenk fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bearcreek United's protests and gave Rocky Schenk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Seitenstecher booed when Bearcreek United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocky Schenk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvester Bürgi made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Felipe Schätzle sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc Maurer to strike the kick off in the second half. Beatus Schmitt scored 0-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristián Gabrieli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raphael Vitelli's late challenge caught a FC Seitenstecher's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Vitelli helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Bearcreek United got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Vitelli. When Beatus Schmitt came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the FC Seitenstecher fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beatus Schmitt couldn't finish the play. Tervel Ralev charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tervel Ralev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Bearcreek United got a freekick which was hit by Tervel Ralev. Hannes Schmitt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. FC Seitenstecher's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hannes Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Marc Maurer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristián Gabrieli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Beatus Schmitt came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FC Seitenstecher fans jumped to their feet. Silvester Bürgi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bearcreek United. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ralf Stauber in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvester Bürgi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvester Bürgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Stauber in the 79th minute of the match. Tony Cross was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Seitenstecher fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Schätzle in the 86th minute of play forced FC Seitenstecher's goalkeeper Silvester Bürgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Bearcreek United's Cristián Gabrieli got control of the ball when Boris Burkhart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Odin Weingartner charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Bonifatius Lepre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
