In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FK CRVENA ZVEZDA's goalkeeper Howie Bizier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Howie Bizier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alxavier Eberhardt, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alxavier Eberhardt in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Howie Bizier saved FK CRVENA ZVEZDA from getting behind. Herve Bur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Arenas in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Fréderic Stadelmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, FK CRVENA ZVEZDA's Abel Arenas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herve Bur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Volmar Boyer to make the kick off. Howie Bizier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Bürgin in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Volmar Boyer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herve Bur. Volmar Boyer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Howie Bizier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alxavier Eberhardt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
