The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Claudiu Bumba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcu Mîțu came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudiu Bumba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. In the 18th minute, Traian Platon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tizian Zimmermann came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ticino Patriots fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tizian Zimmermann couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Bodo Oster made a precise shot to the right of Marcu Mîțu. Ticino Patriots's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Traian Platon fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ticino Patriots's protests and gave Traian Platon a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Ticino Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Traian Platon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tizian Zimmermann in the 32nd minute of play forced Axenstein's goalkeeper Michele Rieger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ragnar Lodbrok could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Marcu Mîțu made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Claudiu Bumba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Axenstein fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Traian Platon was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marcu Mîțu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bodo Oster showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudiu Bumba to strike the kick off in the second half. Claudiu Bumba took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcu Mîțu. Marcu Mîțu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Marcu Mîțu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yannick Willi went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute, Claudiu Bumba made a precise shot to the right of Marcu Mîțu. Ticino Patriots's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Ticino Patriots's Marcu Mîțu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Lodbrok in the 63rd minute of play. Michele Rieger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kauã Paes in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Bodo Oster sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcu Mîțu skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Axenstein's Bodo Oster got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Tizian Zimmermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcu Mîțu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bodo Oster, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ragnar Lodbrok hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 77 minutes of play, Axenstein's Claudiu Bumba made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcu Mîțu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcu Mîțu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Lodbrok, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ragnar Lodbrok took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcu Mîțu. Marcu Mîțu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. In the 91st minute Ragnar Lodbrok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Mîțu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Claudiu Bumba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Claudiu Bumba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcu Mîțu was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. 94 minutes into the match, Axenstein's goalkeeper Michele Rieger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauã Paes. Axenstein's Michele Rieger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Axenstein from getting a goal against them. Axenstein walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
