Bonifatius Scarano started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in B O B I S A's zone, Nino Forster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralph Sanger came out of the goal and Nino Forster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ralph Sanger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuliano Baumann in the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's goal looked a bit too open when Owain Wollenmann came free, but Ralph Sanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralph Sanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Owain Wollenmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralph Sanger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nico Gruenewald went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerry Fleischer in the 13th minute of play forced 1. FC Union Weberei's goalkeeper Heiner Studer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. J.C. Mijatović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Heiner Studer made a huge save. 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Union Weberei from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Owain Wollenmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerry Fleischer in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Gerry Fleischer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heiner Studer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifatius Scarano during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, 1. FC Union Weberei's Bonifatius Scarano got a free kick in the 28th minute. Heiner Studer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerry Fleischer in the 28th minute of play. Nino Forster scored 1-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ralph Sanger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Bonifatius Scarano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Giuliano Baumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Sanger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralph Sanger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Gruenewald, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gerry Fleischer made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Gruenewald got free with Ralph Sanger in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Giuliano Baumann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1. FC Union Weberei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Ralph Sanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuliano Baumann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Bonifatius Scarano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Sanger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifatius Scarano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ralph Sanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifatius Scarano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. J.C. Mijatović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heiner Studer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Owain Wollenmann in the 74th minute of play forced B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.C. Mijatović in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Giuliano Baumann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1. FC Union Weberei's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave B O B I S A the free kick. Giuliano Baumann kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. B O B I S A made a substitution. Christophe Mehri replaced J.C. Mijatović. After 84 minutes of play, B O B I S A's Arndt Moschen made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heiner Studer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrice Barkholz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Nico Gruenewald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerry Fleischer might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heiner Studer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerry Fleischer ran back to his position shaking his head. After 95th play minutes Christophe Mehri shot 4-3, a short shot which went by Heiner Studer and just under the crossbar into goal.
