Emanuele Diederich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Pfeifer in the 20th minute of play forced Innercamana AC's goalkeeper Matthieu Goffredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Schläfli in the 22nd minute of play. Sammy Vonlanthen kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sammy Vonlanthen got free with Ralph Sanger in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerry Fleischer to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Innercamana AC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Pfeifer came free, but Matthieu Goffredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Jan Cascarella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 94 played minutes, B O B I S A's Rolf Affentranger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matthieu Goffredo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in B O B I S A reached it. Matthieu Goffredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Fleischer, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
