In the 14th minute, Boris Provoost left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THE MANIACS 1987 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Maxence Schlatter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Kohler in the 30th minute of play. 5-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Ciro Battisti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Olivier Bizier kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zdzislaw Bryk during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Boris Provoost quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. If Ciro Battisti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simone Menz took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxence Schlatter. Maxence Schlatter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 75th minute Ciro Battisti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxence Schlatter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. THE MANIACS 1987's Ciro Battisti managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sam Uliassi in the 77 minute of the game. After 80 minutes of play, THE MANIACS 1987's Paulo Savion made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxence Schlatter was left in no man's land by his defense there!
