Igor Brandenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Nalaskowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Fire Devils's Odysseus Lindenmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Fire Devils from getting a goal against them. Mitja Wollstadt made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sven-Arne Bengtsson immediately put the ball in play. In the 23rd minute Edmílson Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Brandenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odysseus Lindenmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Frasier Huber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Odysseus Lindenmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frasier Huber went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Alexis Veterini hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The supporters of Fire Devils booed when SalentoUnited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ergincan Suerkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to SalentoUnited getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ergincan Suerkan hit a great ball. SalentoUnited's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
