The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mehmet Çağrı Canpolat hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the RealBJK defense, Nils-Emil Blomkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederic Van Der Heijden. The RealBJK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederic Van Der Heijden should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in RealBJK's zone, Doctor Lorenz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederic Van Der Heijden came out of the goal and Doctor Lorenz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. RealBJK's Frederic Van Der Heijden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doctor Lorenz in the 15th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by RealBJK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pier Meyer was slow to take the kick. During this time ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s players had a chance to rest. Frederic Van Der Heijden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Thorwart in the 23rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, RealBJK's Glenn Danzig threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mehmet Çağrı Canpolat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 28 minutes into the match, Nils-Emil Blomkvist notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of RealBJK's Frederic Van Der Heijden. Frederic Van Der Heijden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute, Nils-Emil Blomkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederic Van Der Heijden was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoine Chassot got free with Frederic Van Der Heijden in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RealBJK's Frederic Van Der Heijden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save RealBJK from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s Frank Thorwart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederic Van Der Heijden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pier Meyer in the 55th minute. Frederic Van Der Heijden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doctor Lorenz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s Doctor Lorenz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s zone, Jordi Grüter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glenn Danzig came out of the goal and Jordi Grüter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glenn Danzig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Petrova in the 74th minute of the match. Frederic Van Der Heijden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pier Meyer's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Frederic Van Der Heijden successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 82 minutes into the game, Frank Thorwart lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Frederic Van Der Heijden. 93 minutes into the game, Nils-Emil Blomkvist lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Frederic Van Der Heijden.
