Liver Bird's Stig Verlengia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, Liver Bird's Stig Verlengia got control of the ball when Gaudencio Lekubegi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Adam Vase managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LavAzzA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Vase was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pat Eggers in the 16th minute of play forced LavAzzA's goalkeeper Iwan Lepucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Pat Eggers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Lepucki was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Liver Bird's Alfred Parolini got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Gaudencio Lekubegi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Clinton Werfel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iwan Lepucki. LavAzzA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clinton Werfel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Kuhn in the 26th minute of play forced LavAzzA's goalkeeper Iwan Lepucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Timoteo Kuhn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liver Bird fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, LavAzzA's goal looked a bit too open when Clinton Werfel came free, but Iwan Lepucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Clinton Werfel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 37 minutes into the game, Timoteo Kuhn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Iwan Lepucki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 41 minutes into the match, LavAzzA's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Kuhn came free, but Iwan Lepucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Liver Bird got a freekick which was hit by Clinton Werfel. After the first half Liver Bird were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pat Eggers was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Clinton Werfel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liver Bird's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nathaniel Howald in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, LavAzzA's goal looked a bit too open when Clinton Werfel came free, but Iwan Lepucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pat Eggers in the 65th minute of play. Clinton Werfel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute Liver Bird were awarded a corner. Nathaniel Howald went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Liver Bird's Nathaniel Howald to fire away a dangerous shot which Iwan Lepucki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pat Eggers in the 72nd minute of play forced LavAzzA's goalkeeper Iwan Lepucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Timoteo Kuhn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Raffaele Mutach with Nathaniel Howald as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Stig Verlengia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Lamontagne in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Liver Bird's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Lekubegi came free, but Stig Verlengia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LavAzzA's Mai Di Chao was substituted for Adam Vase. Amerigo Labarra kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Iwan Lepucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Rapsopodis in the 92nd minute of play. The LavAzzA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Liver Bird were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
