Spectators: 10906 (Terracing: 8181, Seating: 2508, VIP seats: 217) Stan Wawrinka started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alain Berset got free with Kiran Tomasini in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Espen Steelers's zone, Ronny Simmen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregor Kobel came out of the goal and Ronny Simmen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stan Wawrinka fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalkeeper Kiran Tomasini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 minutes THE ROKERY PIMKIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Williams Imholz who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Lepage in the 14th minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Gregor Kobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save THE ROKERY PIMKIS from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Mino in the 17th minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Gregor Kobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregor Kobel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Morientes in the 22nd minute of play. Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Luna in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Espen Steelers's Alain Berset slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kiran Tomasini. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Stan Wawrinka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espen Steelers's supporters rose to their feet, but Stan Wawrinka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiran Tomasini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Mino in the 30th minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Gregor Kobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Espen Steelers's corner Alain Berset fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kiran Tomasini quite easily take care of the ball. Kiran Tomasini made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Alain Berset sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Mino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregor Kobel having to make a save. 45 minutes into the game, Marco Odermatt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espen Steelers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THE ROKERY PIMKIS the free kick. In the 45th minute, Marco Odermatt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Espen Steelers's Albert Einstein was substituted for Marco Odermatt. If Francisco Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Luna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Albert Einstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alain Berset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Alain Berset's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kiran Tomasini was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Kiran Tomasini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Berset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alain Berset recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. THE ROKERY PIMKIS made a substitution. René Stocker replaced Christian Mastroiacovo. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Giancarlo Weissmuller replaced Ekain Menendez. Rogelio Montez took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kiran Tomasini. Kiran Tomasini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Espen Steelers's Stan Wawrinka in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalie prevented a goal. Francisco Mino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Gregor Kobel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kiran Tomasini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Montez, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Many of THE ROKERY PIMKIS's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. THE ROKERY PIMKIS may have spent more time on the ball, but Espen Steelers were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
