In the 4th match minute, Liver Bird was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Kalogeros to maneuver through the defense. In the 6thth minute of the game Gutierre Lauri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liver Bird's Stig Verlengia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Liver Bird's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Godoy came free, but Stig Verlengia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clinton Werfel in the 17th minute of play. Pat Eggers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Fergus Maina made a huge save. In the 24thth minute of the game Gutierre Lauri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liver Bird's Stig Verlengia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Willem Rinert struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Stig Verlengia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ämmer Sportfreaks. After some careless play in the Ämmer Sportfreaks defense, Clinton Werfel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fergus Maina. The Ämmer Sportfreaks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fergus Maina should have stopped the shot. Pat Eggers who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Fergus Maina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 31 played minutes Liver Bird got a freekick which was hit by Jacques La Rosa. Stig Verlengia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gutierre Lauri, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes Liver Bird's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Willem Rinert who took care of the corner kick. Clinton Werfel in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fergus Maina, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gutierre Lauri in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig Verlengia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 39 in the game by Pat Eggers from a close distance when the talented Fergus Maina managed to make a qualified save. Ämmer Sportfreaks's players were relieved. Nathaniel Howalds short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Fergus Maina to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nathaniel Howald did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Fergus Maina 43 minutes into the match. Clinton Werfel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Fergus Maina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Aris Kalogeros kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Stig Verlengia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Napoleon Moczkiewicz in the 52nd minute. Liver Bird were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Ämmer Sportfreaks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nathaniel Howald took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Silvain Zimmermann managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Alwin Känel was substituted for Gutierre Lauri. 67 minutes into the game, Alwin Känel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stig Verlengia. Alwin Känel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Fergus Maina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Kuhn in the 71st minute of the match. Liver Bird made a substitution. Dimitris Rapsopodis replaced Pat Eggers. Ross Flückiger kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Alwin Känel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Stig Verlengia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Liver Bird's Stig Verlengia got control of the ball when Napoleon Moczkiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fergus Maina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Rapsopodis's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitris Rapsopodis in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fergus Maina saved Ämmer Sportfreaks from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Lamontagne came free, but Fergus Maina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Jonathan Lamontagne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liver Bird fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Liver Bird had won after a very even match.
