With his leg Yan Fossati managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Liver Bird's Pat Eggers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 3 in the game by Pat Eggers from a close distance when the talented Yan Fossati managed to make a qualified save. Brütten's players were relieved. Pat Eggers in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yan Fossati, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yan Fossati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pat Eggers in the 4th minute of play. A hard shot 7 in the game by Pat Eggers from a close distance when the talented Yan Fossati managed to make a qualified save. Brütten's players were relieved. Clint Paly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Verlengia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Zbytniewski in the 14th minute of the match. Stig Verlengia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Hofstetter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Brütten's goal looked a bit too open when Clinton Werfel came free, but Yan Fossati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Hofstetter in the 20th minute of play forced Liver Bird's goalkeeper Stig Verlengia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pat Eggers who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Yan Fossati when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yan Fossati came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Liver Bird's Pat Eggers. But to his dismay, Pat Eggers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Liver Bird's Timoteo Kuhn got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Liver Bird's Stig Verlengia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Zbytniewski in the 33rd minute of play. The long shot by Jacques La Rosa in the 35th minute really tested Yan Fossati's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Brütten's goalkeeper Yan Fossati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvain Zimmermann. Stig Verlengia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Zbytniewski in the 44th minute of the match. Liver Bird's Stig Verlengia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Hofstetter in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A well-hit corner resulted in Gareth Barron heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pat Eggers in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Fossati saved Brütten from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pat Eggers in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yan Fossati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute Timoteo Kuhn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Fossati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liver Bird's Raffaele Mutach was substituted for Alfred Parolini. After 74 minutes Brütten's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nathaniel Howald who took care of the corner kick. Liver Bird's Jacques La Rosa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yan Fossati in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 75 minutes into the match, Brütten's goal looked a bit too open when Pat Eggers came free, but Yan Fossati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brütten's Yan Fossati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pat Eggers in the 80th minute of play. Brütten were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Liver Bird's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexander Bettinelli took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alexander Bettinelli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stig Verlengia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Yan Fossati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Rapsopodis in the 96th minute of play.
