The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalkeeper Kiran Tomasini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evgeniy Babich. Manuel Lajoie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Luna in the 5th minute of play. If Evgeniy Babich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalkeeper Kiran Tomasini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tudor Caragea. Kiran Tomasini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tudor Caragea in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Mino in the 17th minute of play forced FC Werdenberg's goalkeeper Manuel Lajoie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Lajoie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Morientes in the 18th minute of play. Manuel Lajoie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Luna in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, FC Werdenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Morientes came free, but Manuel Lajoie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Lajoie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Luna's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Manuel Lajoie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Morientes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Werdenberg's Manuel Lajoie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Luna in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Jorge Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lajoie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes in the game, Jorge Luna dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Werdenberg's goalkeeper Manuel Lajoie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kiran Tomasini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tudor Caragea in the 38th minute. The supporters of FC Werdenberg booed when THE ROKERY PIMKIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Lepage didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kiran Tomasini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evgeniy Babich, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Luna in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Lajoie saved FC Werdenberg from getting behind. Manuel Lajoie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Luna in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Luna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Lajoie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Luna in the 51st minute of play. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Jorge Luna was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 55th minute Evgeniy Babich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiran Tomasini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes FC Werdenberg got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Lobonț. Manuel Lajoie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Finotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Luna got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-3 in the right cross in the 60th match minute before Manuel Lajoie had time to react. Volker Unger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kiran Tomasini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Francisco Mino came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Manuel Lajoie could save by the left post. Volker Unger kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Werdenberg getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Volker Unger hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Luna in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Lajoie saved FC Werdenberg from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Fernando Morientes managed to get in a good position for a shot. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Morientes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Lajoie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Lajoie came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Francisco Mino. But to his dismay, Francisco Mino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After having played for 78 minutes, Evgeniy Babich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Werdenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evgeniy Babich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Mino got free with Manuel Lajoie in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evgeniy Babich in the 87th minute of play. Manuel Lajoie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Morientes went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. When FC Werdenberg's Volker Unger in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalie prevented a goal.
