The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, KB Les Mauves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Steenbecks came free, but Rajmond De Graef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rajmond De Graef made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Steenbecks in the 20th minute of play. KB Les Mauves FC's Rajmond De Graef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustave Roscams in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Bryan Van Turnhout got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th match minute, KB Les Mauves FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Van Geele to maneuver through the defense. Robbe Petermans scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rajmond De Graef, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albertus Descamps lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Dries De Loose was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ivo van der Eycken showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Salvino to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Roberto Salvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KB Les Mauves FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Salvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, KB Les Mauves FC's Roberto Salvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dries De Loose narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dominik Steenbecks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rajmond De Graef having to interfere. A collision led to KB Les Mauves FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Georges Susters hit a great ball. Dominik Steenbecks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Rajmond De Graef tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dries De Loose didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Salvino went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Roberto Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dries De Loose tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Johan Van Geele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KB Les Mauves FC and the Ciney players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KB Les Mauves FC! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Ciney. Yoeri Susters stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rajmond De Graef. 2-2. After having played for 84 minutes, Octaaf Ackermans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciney's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octaaf Ackermans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robbe Petermans got free with Rajmond De Graef in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KB Les Mauves FC's Rajmond De Graef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Bernaerts in the 86th minute of play. Jonas Van Gele kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. KB Les Mauves FC's Georges Susters got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dries De Loose took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo van der Eycken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 98 minutes of play, KB Les Mauves FC's Roberto Salvino made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dries De Loose was left in no man's land by his defense there! KB Les Mauves FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
