Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) FC Trekschuren's Waut Taverniers started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arnold Van de Poel fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 5th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Waut Taverniers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sven Damm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aírton Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Camiel Bouman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xander-Paul Justens took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camiel Bouman. Camiel Bouman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Xander-Paul Justens came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Heule fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xander-Paul Justens couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the match, FC Trekschuren's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Moreira came free, but Camiel Bouman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Heule booed when FC Trekschuren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waut Taverniers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aírton Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aírton Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camiel Bouman having to interfere. When Heule's Xander-Paul Justens in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Trekschuren's goalie prevented a goal. Xander-Paul Justens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camiel Bouman having to interfere. Heule's Xander-Paul Justens got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Xander-Paul Justens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led Heule's Xander-Paul Justens to fire away a dangerous shot which Camiel Bouman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 44th minute, Klaus Kuppens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC Trekschuren players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Heule were winning 0-2.

If Klaus Kuppens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Trekschuren's Camiel Bouman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xander-Paul Justens in the 56th minute of play. Heule's Aírton Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aírton Moreira struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Camiel Bouman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heule. Camiel Bouman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xander-Paul Justens in the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aírton Moreira in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camiel Bouman saved FC Trekschuren from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Heule's Xander-Paul Justens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Camiel Bouman. Camiel Bouman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Camiel Bouman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aírton Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Pieter Post was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Camiel Bouman made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Aírton Moreira sent off a good shot on target. Xander-Paul Justens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camiel Bouman having to make a save. With a little luck, FC Trekschuren's Camiel Bouman got control of the ball when Thys Matthieu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xander-Paul Justens in the 95th minute of play forced FC Trekschuren's goalkeeper Camiel Bouman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xander-Paul Justens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Heule could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Trekschuren throughout the match.
