The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Zeemanshaard's Tommas Abeloos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evert-Jan Verhasselt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isidoor Driesen hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. SC Pont-'s Evert-Jan Verhasselt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gertjan Duchateau in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Isidoor Driesen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zeemanshaard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pont- the free kick. The audience cheered loudly when Adolf Gijsbrechts's long shot in the 79th minute became 1-1 when the ball went to the left of and passed Cesar Verheugen. Tommas Abeloos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert-Jan Verhasselt having to interfere. With a little luck, Zeemanshaard's Cesar Verheugen got control of the ball when Jean Poets tried to sneak it across the goal line. The SC Pont- players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Zeemanshaard from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
