Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joop Lambert started the match with the kick off. Raf Van Laeck struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Josef Steuckens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Belboys. Raf Van Laeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ewout Huvenaerts fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KSV Keerbergen's protests and gave Ewout Huvenaerts a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KSV Keerbergen getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ewout Huvenaerts hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Raf Van Laeck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Belboys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pierrot Laporte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josef Steuckens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Van Cruchten in the 41st minute of play. Racing Belboys were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after KSV Keerbergen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeffery Van Caubergen took the corner. After taking down the ball on Racing Belboys's corner Jeffery Van Caubergen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Josef Steuckens quite easily take care of the ball. Pierrot Laporte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Steuckens having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronald Camps made a kick off. Pierrot Laporte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Josef Steuckens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sammy Van Cruchten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Steuckens having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Ken Persoens fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. KSV Keerbergen's Josef Steuckens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save KSV Keerbergen from getting a goal against them. Joeri Gebuers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Steuckens having to interfere. Pierrot Laporte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Steuckens having to interfere. Racing Belboys's Ronald Camps got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Pierrot Laporte rounded KSV Keerbergen's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sammy Van Cruchten got free with Josef Steuckens in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teo Verdeyen's late challenge caught a Racing Belboys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Verdeyen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Racing Belboys booed when KSV Keerbergen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Verdeyen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sammy Van Cruchten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Josef Steuckens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in KSV Keerbergen's zone, Sammy Van Cruchten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Steuckens came out of the goal and Sammy Van Cruchten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Raf Van Laeck got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ronald Camps's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josef Steuckens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Raf Van Laeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Josef Steuckens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Racing Belboys's Pierrot Laporte got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Racing Belboys's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
