Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Francois Fraes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A.F. Neerem's Phillipe Wiechgers got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, KFC Rijmenam's Francois Fraes got control of the ball when Bert Engelborghs tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Joos Massenhove came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the KFC Rijmenam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joos Massenhove couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the game, Robbe Leenders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.F. Neerem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Rijmenam the free kick. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jeremy Oliviers sped through A.F. Neerem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan Hoes. Artuur Armentier charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artuur Armentier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Artuur Armentier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neerem's goalkeeper Jan Hoes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bert Engelborghs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francois Fraes having to interfere. If Bert Engelborghs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joos Massenhove in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan Hoes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jan Hoes was a little too slow when Jeremy Oliviers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-2. Bert Engelborghs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phillipe Wiechgers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joos Massenhove could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Jan Hoes made a huge save. Joos Massenhove fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Hoes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Joos Massenhove managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Rijmenam's supporters rose to their feet, but Joos Massenhove was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Hoes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to A.F. Neerem getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Harald Van der Poorten hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes A.F. Neerem got a freekick which was hit by Bert Engelborghs. The A.F. Neerem supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KFC Rijmenam's performance. The match ended with a win for KFC Rijmenam.
