Mats Van Der Meeren started the match with the kick off. Jan Hoes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Van Der Meeren, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 14 played minutes Tisselt got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy van Bedts. Jeremy van Bedts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Tisselt's goalkeeper Godfried Lefebre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bert Engelborghs. Godfried Lefebre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bert Engelborghs went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, A.F. Neerem's Phillipe Wiechgers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godfried Lefebre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tisselt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Phillipe Wiechgers scored to the left of an out of position Godfried Lefebre, making the score, 2-0. A.F. Neerem's Phillipe Wiechgers got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jeremy van Bedts was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. In the 41st minute, Jeremy van Bedts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Phillipe Wiechgers to make the kick off. Tisselt's Mats Van Der Meeren got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Ruud Ceustermans got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Niels Van Engelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Godfried Lefebre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mats Van Der Meeren came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Tisselt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Van Der Meeren couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, A.F. Neerem's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Van Der Meeren came free, but Jan Hoes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bert Engelborghs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Godfried Lefebre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phillipe Wiechgers in the 71st minute of play forced Tisselt's goalkeeper Godfried Lefebre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Phillipe Wiechgers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.F. Neerem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 81st minute, Mats Van Der Meeren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tisselt's Mats Van Der Meeren in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.F. Neerem's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Mats Van Der Meeren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tisselt's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Van Der Meeren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Hoes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mats Van Der Meeren struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jan Hoes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tisselt. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Phillipe Wiechgers in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfried Lefebre saved Tisselt from getting behind. Jan Hoes was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Mats Van Der Meeren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mats Van Der Meeren really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1.
