After a rather tough play, Vetzaat's Kamiel Polspoel got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th match minute, Vetzaat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamiel Polspoel to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Wisterzee getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lucas Van Dijcke hit a great ball. Edmond Wils's late challenge caught a Wisterzee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmond Wils helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vetzaat! The referee gave Wisterzee a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nico Vanden Driessche, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vetzaat's Anthony Rouvoet. 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Vetzaat's Glenn Klopterop sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Neys narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matteo Smoors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Lucas Van Dijcke took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Anthony Rouvoet to make any attempt to save it.
