Thommy Debecker ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th match minute, Racing Plufine Reppel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Nagels to maneuver through the defense. Laarne were furious when Joost Landewijck was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 11 minutes into the game, one of Laarne:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kenny Wigers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Nagels in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kobe De Rudder got free with Kenny Wigers in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 21 played minutes Laarne got a freekick which was hit by Guy Van den Haute. 24 minutes into the game, Kobe De Rudder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kenny Wigers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kobe De Rudder took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenny Wigers. Kenny Wigers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steff Justens in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenny Wigers saved Laarne from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Racing Plufine Reppel's Edmond Van Emelen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kenny Wigers. Kenny Wigers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. The throw-in from Rolf Saelens in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Racing Plufine Reppel's Lionel Balckmans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Nagels in the 43rd minute of play forced Laarne's goalkeeper Kenny Wigers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenny Wigers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kobe De Rudder went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kobe De Rudder was the one to do the kick off. Dimitri Manaers hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Laarne's Kenny Wigers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmond Van Emelen in the 58th minute of play. Kenny Wigers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Racing Plufine Reppel's Lionel Balckmans quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rolf Saelens, made in the 90th minute of the game. Laarne's Kenny Wigers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Nagels in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Edmond Van Emelen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenny Wigers. Laarne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmond Van Emelen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Kenny Wigers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ludwig Nagels went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Racing Plufine Reppel walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
