Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Giovanny Roosendael got the match started through his kick off. Matias de Pelsmaeker made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Sebastien Gebuers sent off a good shot on target. Matias de Pelsmaeker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoachim Klopterop in the 7th minute of the match. Matias de Pelsmaeker came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Varinkshoek's Yoachim Klopterop. But to his dismay, Yoachim Klopterop quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Matias de Pelsmaeker was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yoachim Klopterop showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Harrie Ceusters was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. KFC Varinkshoek's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sean de Koninck hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanny Roosendael in the 17th minute of play forced KFC Varinkshoek's goalkeeper Luisito Indalecio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanny Roosendael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Indalecio having to interfere. Sebastien Gebuers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matias de Pelsmaeker came out and tried to block the shot, but Sebastien Gebuers slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 28th minute. Matias de Pelsmaeker was a little too slow when Yoachim Klopterop got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 5-0. Sebastien Gebuers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, KFC Varinkshoek's Matias de Pelsmaeker threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yoachim Klopterop, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Matias de Pelsmaeker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastien Gebuers in the 38th minute of the match. Matias de Pelsmaeker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastien Gebuers in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Yoachim Klopterop reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matias de Pelsmaeker. The goal made the score 6-0. In the 45th minute, Sean de Koninck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

In the 52nd minute, Yoachim Klopterop left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Varinkshoek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Sebastien Gebuers managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Varinkshoek's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastien Gebuers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias de Pelsmaeker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the game, KFC Varinkshoek's Jan De Kepper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias de Pelsmaeker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Matias de Pelsmaeker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastien Gebuers, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes of play, KFC Varinkshoek's Yoachim Klopterop made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias de Pelsmaeker was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute Yoachim Klopterop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias de Pelsmaeker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Sebastien Gebuers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias de Pelsmaeker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Sten Jansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KFC Varinkshoek's Sebastien Gebuers got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, FC Grivegnée's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastien Gebuers came free, but Matias de Pelsmaeker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias de Pelsmaeker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastien Gebuers in the 83rd minute of play. FC Grivegnée's Matias de Pelsmaeker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastien Gebuers in the 85th minute of play. Matias de Pelsmaeker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoachim Klopterop in the 92nd minute of the match. Giovanny Roosendael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that KFC Varinkshoek were the better team. KFC Varinkshoek's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
