Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Antonio Van De Velden made the kick off which started today's match. RSC Lichtelaar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 2nd minute, when Conrad De Weyngaert scored to the left of an out of position Dave Goons, making the score, 1-0. Geert-Jan Gelens's late challenge caught a RSC Lichtelaar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geert-Jan Gelens helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RSC Lichtelaar booed when SK Winksele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geert-Jan Gelens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Van De Gehuchte struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Camiel Helssen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RSC Lichtelaar. Camiel Helssen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrez Klijnhens in the 12th minute of the match. Camiel Helssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Van De Velden, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Conrad De Weyngaert managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Winksele's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrad De Weyngaert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Goons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maarten Imbrechts might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dave Goons. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maarten Imbrechts ran back to his position shaking his head. Emile Vandenbosch took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camiel Helssen. Camiel Helssen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 29th minute of the match Rudi De Meesemaeckere shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camiel Helssen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maarten Imbrechts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Van Hoeij during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the SK Winksele defense, Emile Vandenbosch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camiel Helssen. The SK Winksele fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camiel Helssen should have stopped the shot. Camiel Helssen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Van De Velden in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, RSC Lichtelaar's Dave Goons got control of the ball when Albert Kint tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Gert-Jan Paschiers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Winksele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert-Jan Paschiers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, SK Winksele's Gert-Jan Paschiers got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maarten Imbrechts to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gert-Jan Paschiers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gert-Jan Paschiers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maarten Imbrechts struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Dave Goons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Winksele. Gert-Jan Paschiers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SK Winksele's Niki Conincx got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the RSC Lichtelaar defense, Albert Kint kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dave Goons. The RSC Lichtelaar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dave Goons should have stopped the shot. Conrad De Weyngaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dave Goons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Kint in the 71st minute of the match. Dave Goons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrad De Weyngaert in the 74th minute of play. If Antonio Van De Velden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, RSC Lichtelaar's Robert Pellegrims got a free kick in the 79th minute. Gert-Jan Paschiers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dave Goons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Kint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Goons having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, RSC Lichtelaar's goal looked a bit too open when Maarten Imbrechts came free, but Dave Goons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 played minutes SK Winksele got a freekick which was hit by Gert-Jan Paschiers. Camiel Helssen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Van De Velden in the 87th minute of play. Maarten Imbrechts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Goons having to interfere. If Antonio Van De Velden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, RSC Lichtelaar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederic Quintens to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SK Winksele fully deserved thier win.
