Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abel Manaers kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Vervaet got free with Matthew Strupar in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the game, Kenney Vanhove cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Robrecht Claessens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Matthew Strupar managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Haneffe's Abel Manaers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abel Manaers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthew Strupar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bekkevoort's zone, Rolf Koens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthew Strupar came out of the goal and Rolf Koens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Staf Pelgrims could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Matthew Strupar made a huge save. When Bekkevoort's Tran Montens in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haneffe's goalie prevented a goal. A very good chance. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Haneffe's goalkeeper Robrecht Claessens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Manaers in the 66th minute of play forced Bekkevoort's goalkeeper Matthew Strupar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
