Reemy Maerschalcx came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by KB Les Mauves FC's Charlie Degryse. But to his dismay, Charlie Degryse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Beringen's Johan Schrijns got a free kick in the 10th minute. Lennie Heywood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Regis Hulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Moerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Sergey Katanskiy made a precise shot to the right of Reemy Maerschalcx. Beringen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Lennie Heywood came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the KB Les Mauves FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennie Heywood couldn't finish the play. Bernard Portmans's late challenge caught a Beringen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernard Portmans helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennie Heywood in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reemy Maerschalcx saved Beringen from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Steffen Lingier put in a rough tackle. 33 minutes into the game, one of KB Les Mauves FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Charlie Degryse struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Reemy Maerschalcx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KB Les Mauves FC. Patrick Moerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Regis Hulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Reemy Maerschalcx didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergey Katanskiy went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 56th minute, Johan Schrijns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Bryan Laporte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Binjamin Van Boekost came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Beringen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Binjamin Van Boekost couldn't finish the play. Reemy Maerschalcx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Laporte in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, KB Les Mauves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Binjamin Van Boekost came free, but Regis Hulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergey Katanskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Sergey Katanskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. KB Les Mauves FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergey Katanskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reemy Maerschalcx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Van Haechten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Reemy Maerschalcx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Cedric Huybreghts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Regis Hulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie Degryse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Reemy Maerschalcx made a huge save. When Sergey Katanskiy came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the KB Les Mauves FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergey Katanskiy couldn't finish the play. Reemy Maerschalcx was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bryan Laporte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 83 minute of play. After 88 played minutes Beringen got a freekick which was hit by Wout Lenoir. Reemy Maerschalcx was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lennie Heywood. Reemy Maerschalcx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Laporte in the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of KB Les Mauves FC booed when Beringen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjorn Bauwmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bryan Laporte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reemy Maerschalcx having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sergey Katanskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. KB Les Mauves FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergey Katanskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reemy Maerschalcx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KB Les Mauves FC played a much better game than Beringen and deserved their victory. The Beringen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
