A collision led to SK Waillet getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Cedrik Du Molin hit a great ball. Joseph Baeten was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dries De kaiser. In the 8th minute, Kamiel Standaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenney Servrancx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, Mathieu Van Huruck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isaac Storms was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Dan Gebuers could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Joseph Baeten however easily saved by the left post. Joseph Baeten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenney Servrancx, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the SK Waillet defense, Stanny Ceusters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joseph Baeten. The SK Waillet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joseph Baeten should have stopped the shot. Alphonse Van Havent hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenney Servrancx to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, SK Waillet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff De Clerk to maneuver through the defense. If Dan Gebuers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SK Waillet's Joseph Baeten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanny Ceusters in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Gebuers in the 76th minute of play forced SK Waillet's goalkeeper Joseph Baeten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to VC Bastelaar getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Dries De kaiser hit a great ball. Joseph Baeten came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by VC Bastelaar's Dan Gebuers. But to his dismay, Dan Gebuers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
