When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Remy Schoolmeesters took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Brecht Vissenaeckens to make any attempt to save it. FC Funny Guys's Brecht Vissenaeckens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Schoolmeesters in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Funny Guys's Brecht Vissenaeckens got control of the ball when Dries Van den Bossche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dries Van den Bossche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brecht Vissenaeckens having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dries Van den Bossche in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brecht Vissenaeckens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes, Matty De Vleeschauwere mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Funny Guys and the KSV Nandrin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, FC Funny Guys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matty De Vleeschauwere to maneuver through the defense. FC Funny Guys's Brecht Vissenaeckens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Schoolmeesters in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Dries Van den Bossche suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Joachim Van Eijcke's late challenge caught a KSV Nandrin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joachim Van Eijcke helped the player get up and apologised. 28 minutes into the game, one of FC Funny Guys:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for KSV Nandrin. Benedict Van Geel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Brecht Vissenaeckens. 2-0. Michael Maerschalks might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Van Vyve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Maerschalks ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th match minute, KSV Nandrin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yens Helssens to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michael Maerschalks to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Remy Schoolmeesters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSV Nandrin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remy Schoolmeesters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Michael Maerschalks managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Funny Guys's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Maerschalks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Van Vyve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brecht Vissenaeckens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantijn Maerschalcx, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Michael Maerschalks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brecht Vissenaeckens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remy Schoolmeesters in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, FC Funny Guys's goal looked a bit too open when Remy Schoolmeesters came free, but Brecht Vissenaeckens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brecht Vissenaeckens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yens Helssens, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Remy Schoolmeesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Remy Schoolmeesters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KSV Nandrin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KSV Nandrin fully deserved thier win.
