FC Brandheide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Levi Gelens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee ignored FC Brandheide's protests and gave Kim Zimmer a yellow card for diving instead. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Brandheide players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
