Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jorne Creemers made the kick off which started today's match. Adalberto Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Schoutens having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adalberto Nunes in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jakob Schoutens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Evere's Jeffrey Van Bets got a free kick in the 5th minute. Jakob Schoutens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Dalmeijer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeffrey Van Bets's late challenge caught a RSC Anderlecht's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeffrey Van Bets helped the player get up and apologised. 9 minutes into the match, Ronald Dalmeijer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jakob Schoutens. Evere's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronald Dalmeijer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jakob Schoutens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Dalmeijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Jarno Van Malcot was a little too slow when Jeffrey Van Bets got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-1. With a little luck, RSC Anderlecht's Jarno Van Malcot got control of the ball when Jeffrey Van Bets tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, RSC Anderlecht's goal looked a bit too open when Arnout Van Cauwenberg came free, but Jarno Van Malcot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ronald Dalmeijer came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the RSC Anderlecht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Dalmeijer couldn't finish the play. Jakob Schoutens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Nunes in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute Ronald Dalmeijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Schoutens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnout Van Cauwenberg in the 40th minute of play forced RSC Anderlecht's goalkeeper Jarno Van Malcot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, Evere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrez Van Boxstael to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute of the match Rudy Driesen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jakob Schoutens skillfully saved the ball. Evere's Jakob Schoutens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Dalmeijer in the 47th minute of play.

RSC Anderlecht's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
