Wespelaar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantijn Stuijckens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Charly v.Parijs's zone, Kim Loosen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorg Vanden Broucke came out of the goal and Kim Loosen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Charly v.Parijs getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Fernand Philippaerts hit a great ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Kim Loosen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wespelaar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Loosen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebbe De Hertoge hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantijn Stuijckens in the 29th minute of play forced Charly v.Parijs's goalkeeper Jorg Vanden Broucke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daan Van Caubergen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Van der Perren in the 31st minute. If Constantijn Stuijckens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kim Loosen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jorg Vanden Broucke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40thth minute of the game Constantijn Stuijckens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charly v.Parijs's Jorg Vanden Broucke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Constantijn Stuijckens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantijn Stuijckens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorg Vanden Broucke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Renaut Gyselinck made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Constantijn Stuijckens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorg Vanden Broucke was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Hugo Van der Perren came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Charly v.Parijs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Van der Perren couldn't finish the play. Renaut Gyselinck struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Daan Van Caubergen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charly v.Parijs. 62 minutes into the game, Guillaume Boemans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charly v.Parijs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wespelaar the free kick. After a rather tough play, Charly v.Parijs's Sebbe De Hertoge got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jorg Vanden Broucke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Loosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, one of Wespelaar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Constantijn Stuijckens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Jorg Vanden Broucke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 99 minutes, Kim Loosen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wespelaar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kim Loosen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wespelaar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
