After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Hannes Verhulst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Engelbeek's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Verhulst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abraham Mons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hubert Schautens got free with Abraham Mons in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abraham Mons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylvan Van Craesbeeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrik Musseeuw kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Geitenhof's Abraham Mons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylvan Van Craesbeeck in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Geitenhof booed when Engelbeek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lander Spoelberchs didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Brent-Jan Artois notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Engelbeek's Theo Van Hooveldt. Theo Van Hooveldt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tim-Jan Polspoel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute.
