Wesly Rix hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Matias Van der Vloedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viktor Spailer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Van den Driesch, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Arnaud Lieckens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Viktor Spailer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Van den Driesch ran back to his position shaking his head. When Will Boemans fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purpura Academia Juvenil's protests and gave Will Boemans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Will Boemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Jasper Vercouteren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luc Van Houdtvinck, 1-1. Viktor Spailer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Purpura Academia Juvenil's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
