Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Max Van den Driesch kicked off to start the match. Stephan Jespers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12thth minute of the game Max Van den Driesch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kermt's Joachim De Malier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, one of Kermt:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Will Boemans walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Arnaud Lieckens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purpura Academia Juvenil's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaud Lieckens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joachim De Malier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Robrecht De Vriendt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luc Van Houdtvinck was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 25th match minute, Kermt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quillian Stuyck to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Kermt's Stephan Jespers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luc Van Houdtvinck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joachim De Malier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaud Lieckens in the 29th minute of the match. Luc Van Houdtvinck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robrecht De Vriendt in the 35th minute. If Robrecht De Vriendt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rik Thielens kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephan Jespers in the 43rd minute of play forced Purpura Academia Juvenil's goalkeeper Luc Van Houdtvinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

A collision led to Purpura Academia Juvenil getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Wesly Rix hit a great ball. Stephan Jespers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luc Van Houdtvinck having to make a save. Luc Van Houdtvinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Jespers, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Purpura Academia Juvenil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesly Rix to maneuver through the defense. Luc Van Houdtvinck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stephan Jespers's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Arnaud Lieckens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes Kermt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Will Boemans who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Max Van den Driesch to score against Joachim De Malier in Kermt's goal. 1-1 after 70 minutes. Wesly Rix hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Robrecht De Vriendt came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Kermt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robrecht De Vriendt couldn't finish the play. Luc Van Houdtvinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Jespers, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Arnaud Lieckens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Purpura Academia Juvenil got a freekick which was hit by Robbe Heirpoel. After a defensive mix-up in Purpura Academia Juvenil's zone, Robrecht De Vriendt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luc Van Houdtvinck came out of the goal and Robrecht De Vriendt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quillian Stuyck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Kermt's Stephan Jespers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luc Van Houdtvinck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Luc Van Houdtvinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robrecht De Vriendt, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kermt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Purpura Academia Juvenil had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
