Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mathieu Van Meel made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Ciney getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jorne Callaerts hit a great ball. In the 5th match minute, Ciney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Dedecker to maneuver through the defense. Mathieu Van Meel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Refael Borglevens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathieu Van Meel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Refael Borglevens. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Dirk Van Hallebeecke came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ciney's Freddy Elssen. But to his dismay, Freddy Elssen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Dirk Van Hallebeecke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georges De Scheper in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georges De Scheper in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dirk Van Hallebeecke saved SC Spy from getting behind. SC Spy's Dirk Van Hallebeecke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges De Scheper in the 32nd minute of play. Dirk Van Hallebeecke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georges De Scheper in the 33rd minute of play. Adolf Van Gorp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dirk Van Hallebeecke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georges De Scheper in the 39th minute of the match. A hard and well directed shot from Ricky De Vos led 41 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. SC Spy's Dirk Van Hallebeecke became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. With his leg Refael Borglevens managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when SC Spy's Adolf Van Gorp fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After the first half Ciney were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Georges De Scheper to make the kick off. Dirk Van Hallebeecke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddy Elssen went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mathieu Van Meel managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Spy's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathieu Van Meel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Refael Borglevens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Refael Borglevens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolf Van Gorp, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Adolf Van Gorp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, Ciney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Dedecker to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Adolf Van Gorp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Refael Borglevens. Ciney's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolf Van Gorp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. SC Spy's Dirk Van Hallebeecke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges De Scheper in the 78th minute of play. Freddy Elssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mathieu Van Meel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Adolf Van Gorp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Refael Borglevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Refael Borglevens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolf Van Gorp in the 89th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavian Dedecker during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octavian Dedecker hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Mathieu Van Meel sped through Ciney's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Refael Borglevens.
