Thanks to some nice moves Alain Verhulst could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Roben De Mesemacre however easily saved by the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matteo De Weijgaert to make the kick off. Saint-Hubert's Dre Francx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kobe Delcroix in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alain Verhulst's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roben De Mesemacre was relentless in the 57th minute of the game.
