Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kobe Delcroix got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Apollo Wachtebeke's Pierre-Olivier Bosmans slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roben De Mesemacre. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. After 9 played minutes Royal Sporting Club A got a freekick which was hit by Michael Lyens. Steve Vissenaekers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roben De Mesemacre having to make a save. When Steve Vissenaekers came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Apollo Wachtebeke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steve Vissenaekers couldn't finish the play. Steve Vissenaekers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roben De Mesemacre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Januz Januzaj cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Roben De Mesemacre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Florian Van Den Brande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Roben De Mesemacre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apollo Wachtebeke's Steve Vissenaekers got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Januz Januzaj's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Roben De Mesemacre skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florian Van Den Brande got free with Roben De Mesemacre in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Royal Sporting Club A's Roben De Mesemacre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Royal Sporting Club A from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Leon Portmans dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roben De Mesemacre, 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Kobe Delcroix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Januz Januzaj stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Royal Sporting Club A's Roben De Mesemacre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Vissenaekers in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Apollo Wachtebeke's goalkeeper Artur Van Bostraeten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Leon Portmans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apollo Wachtebeke's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Portmans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roben De Mesemacre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Steve Vissenaekers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roben De Mesemacre having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Januz Januzaj put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roben De Mesemacre. 78 minutes into the match, Royal Sporting Club A's goal looked a bit too open when Januz Januzaj came free, but Roben De Mesemacre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roben De Mesemacre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Vissenaekers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roben De Mesemacre came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Apollo Wachtebeke's Steve Vissenaekers. But to his dismay, Steve Vissenaekers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 88th minute, Leon Portmans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roben De Mesemacre was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 95 minutes, Rocky Van Daelen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal Sporting Club A and the Apollo Wachtebeke players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Royal Sporting Club A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocky Van Daelen to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Apollo Wachtebeke fully deserved thier win.
