Dre Francx was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute Alain Verhulst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Van Bostraeten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Portmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dre Francx having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Saint-Hubert's goalkeeper Dre Francx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steve Vissenaekers. An unexpectedly hard shot by Januz Januzaj in the 26th minute of play forced Saint-Hubert's goalkeeper Dre Francx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Steve Vissenaekers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matteo De Weijgaert struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Artur Van Bostraeten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saint-Hubert. Artur Van Bostraeten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matteo De Weijgaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Steve Vissenaekers did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Dre Francx 36 minutes into the match. When Steve Vissenaekers came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Apollo Wachtebeke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steve Vissenaekers couldn't finish the play. Steve Vissenaekers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dre Francx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apollo Wachtebeke's Steve Vissenaekers got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Steve Vissenaekers was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Apollo Wachtebeke's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Januz Januzaj to strike the kick off in the second half. Alain Verhulst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Saint-Hubert getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Matteo De Weijgaert hit a great ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Leon Portmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apollo Wachtebeke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Portmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Portmans in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dre Francx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dre Francx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Januz Januzaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 63 played minutes Saint-Hubert got a freekick which was hit by Armand Van Impe. The Apollo Wachtebeke fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Apollo Wachtebeke's Januz Januzaj looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Matteo De Weijgaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steve Vissenaekers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dre Francx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Vissenaekers in the 72nd minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Steve Vissenaekers made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Saint-Hubert's Dre Francx tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Steve Vissenaekers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dre Francx having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Apollo Wachtebeke's zone, Armand Van Impe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Van Bostraeten came out of the goal and Armand Van Impe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Januz Januzaj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 played minutes Saint-Hubert got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Hustinx. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Apollo Wachtebeke had played much better football throughout.
