After 9 minutes of play, rsc vilvo's Staf Hellemons made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niki De Putter was left in no man's land by his defense there! CC MoNTiNi's Niki De Putter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Rostow in the 11th minute of play. Niki De Putter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Rostow, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Thijs Geraerts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CC MoNTiNi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave rsc vilvo the free kick. After 17 played minutes CC MoNTiNi got a freekick which was hit by Thijs Geraerts. Niki De Putter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Rostow in the 21st minute of the match. After 23 minutes of play, rsc vilvo's Herbert Rostow made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renaud De Weyngaert in the 27th minute of play forced CC MoNTiNi's goalkeeper Niki De Putter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Renaud De Weyngaert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niki De Putter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Herbert Rostow put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Niki De Putter. The audience was convinced that Herbert Rostow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niki De Putter was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Rostow in the 39th minute of play forced CC MoNTiNi's goalkeeper Niki De Putter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niki De Putter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Rostow in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute Renaud De Weyngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niki De Putter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Rostow made a kick off. Renaud De Weyngaert scored 0-6 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niki De Putter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CC MoNTiNi's Niki De Putter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save CC MoNTiNi from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, CC MoNTiNi's Niki De Putter got control of the ball when Staf Hellemons tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niki De Putter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renaud De Weyngaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herbert Rostow's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Niki De Putter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, CC MoNTiNi's Robin Baecke got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Renaud De Weyngaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niki De Putter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Wyns in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Dimitry Leenpoels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in CC MoNTiNi's zone, Staf Hellemons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niki De Putter came out of the goal and Staf Hellemons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 97 minutes of play, rsc vilvo's Herbert Rostow made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niki De Putter was left in no man's land by his defense there! rsc vilvo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
