After some careless play in the VC Meuleneinde defense, Rocky Roelands kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yelle Gramet. The VC Meuleneinde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yelle Gramet should have stopped the shot. Steffen Coryn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Peter Neirynck sped through KV Achtendries's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Goffrey Hylen. After having played for 26 minutes, Steffen Coryn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VC Meuleneinde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen Coryn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 played minutes, VC Meuleneinde's Frans Verlinden shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Goffrey Hylen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VC Meuleneinde reached it. Steffen Coryn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peter Neirynck might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Goffrey Hylen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Neirynck ran back to his position shaking his head. Rik Adriaens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goffrey Hylen having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, VC Meuleneinde's Peter Neirynck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Goffrey Hylen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Rocky Roelands kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Steffen Coryn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Goffrey Hylen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Neirynck, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Peter Neirynck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KV Achtendries's Goffrey Hylen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Steffen Coryn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Steffen Coryn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Goffrey Hylen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes KV Achtendries got a freekick which was hit by Brent Valckeneers. Gilbert Ourogge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute Peter Neirynck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goffrey Hylen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VC Meuleneinde walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
