Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alan Van Wontergem started the match with the kick off. When Nicolaas Reyniers came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Baulers Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolaas Reyniers couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute of the match, Pino Bauweleers got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lars Højendahl was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Baulers Racing Club getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Brend Huijgens hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, AFC Alster's Dimitri Goddez got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, AFC Alster's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolaas Reyniers came free, but Luke Van den Panhuizen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Højendahl made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Pino Bauweleers sent off a good shot on target. Lars Højendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matteo Naets, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes AFC Alster got a freekick which was hit by Tjorven Keuppens. 22 minutes into the match, Alan Van Wontergem notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AFC Alster's Luke Van den Panhuizen. Luke Van den Panhuizen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lars Højendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrad Schollens, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Nicolaas Reyniers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baulers Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Alster's zone, Alan Van Wontergem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luke Van den Panhuizen came out of the goal and Alan Van Wontergem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Goethals hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Conrad Schollens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Højendahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Van Wontergem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Van den Panhuizen having to interfere. After 44 played minutes AFC Alster got a freekick which was hit by Tjorven Keuppens. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Nicolaas Reyniers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baulers Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolaas Reyniers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luke Van den Panhuizen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Baulers Racing Club were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conrad Schollens to strike the kick off in the second half. If Nicolaas Reyniers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Højendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrad Schollens in the 60th minute of play. If Alan Van Wontergem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFC Alster's Luke Van den Panhuizen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattheo Dirickx in the 66th minute of play. Nicolaas Reyniers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Luke Van den Panhuizen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Conrad Schollens notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Baulers Racing Club's Lars Højendahl. Lars Højendahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luke Van den Panhuizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Van Wontergem, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Lars Højendahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrad Schollens in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Nicolaas Reyniers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lars Højendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pino Bauweleers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolaas Reyniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Baulers Racing Club's Alan Van Wontergem ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luke Van den Panhuizen. Luke Van den Panhuizen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Nicolaas Reyniers took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luke Van den Panhuizen. Luke Van den Panhuizen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Baulers Racing Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AFC Alster.
